Disenfranchised Grief: The Grief Process We Aren’t Talking Enough About (1-CE credit)

In this course, we explore disenfranchised (unrecognized) grief. The goals are to gain a foundational understanding of what disenfranchised grief is, the different types of losses that most often lead to it, and ways in which we can offer non-intrusive visibility to grieving people.

Self-Care and Anticipatory Grief: How Caring For Ourselves Offers Us the Ability to Care for Others

In this course, we explore anticipatory grief, and evaluate the ways in which self-care is an asset to those experiencing anticipatory grief. We will utilize theoretical frameworks to better understand the nature of anticipatory grief, and will discuss self-care techniques that may be helpful in the setting of anticipatory grief.
