Services Offered

Due to the fact that my coaching sessions and other services are not covered through insurance plans, I cannot process insurance claims. For that reason, I aim to keep costs as low as possible, so as not to make my services unattainable for anyone. Loss and grief are hardships enough, and I don’t want to add to that in any way. If you have questions about pricing, or are in need of alternative accommodations, I would still love to hear from you, and we can work together to find an arrangement that meets your circumstances. Your wellbeing comes first and foremost to me, always.

Your privacy is a top priority. All virtual Grief Coaching Sessions and other Services Offered are facilitated using technology that meets the rigorous standards of HIPAA.

Free Consultation (Virtual or Phone, 20-minutes)

Schedule your Free Consultation (20-minutes) today! In this virtual or telephone consultation, we will discuss how and where you are struggling, document your goals, and develop a plan on how best we can move forward working together.

Grief work sessions should never about “moving on” or “fixing you”, those goals are unhealthy, and set unfair expectations for us. Grief work is about learning how to carry your grief, finding strength, and offering yourself true empathy while continuing to live your life more fully.

Individual Sessions

(Virtual or Phone - 30/45/60-minute sessions available)

Grief Coaching Sessions offer a compassionate, grounded space to help you process loss at your own pace, while providing gentle encouragement for how to move forward through your grief process at a healthy pace. Together, we will mindfully explore your emotions, hold space for what has changed, and create supportive techniques for moving forward with clarity, and self-trust.

While every session will be unique, we enter each session with similar goals in mind:

Acknowledging your past-Making space for memories, unresolved feelings, and the many layers of your loss story.

Navigating your present-Identifying what feels heavy right now, building emotional awareness, and finding tools for day-to-day support.

Embracing your future-Reconnecting with hope, meaning, identity, and the life you are still becoming.

*Individual sessions are typically held virtually using a HIPAA-approved meeting platform, or over the phone. However, in-person meetings may be scheduled, depending on location and availability. Please send me a message is you are wondering if in-person sessions are available in your location!

Funeral Service Advance Planning Consultation

(Virtual or Phone - 30/45/60-minute sessions available)

Older man with gray hair and a woman with gray hair walk together outdoors on a cloudy day, with autumn trees and a park in the background.

For some, just the thought of planning funeral arrangements is a lot to process, let alone moving forward with the pre-arrangement process. In my years as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, I have seen, time and time again, the benefits of advance funeral planning play out to the advantage of both the deceased, and their survivors. In fact, I have only ever witnessed the benefits of pre-planning. For some, superstition keeps this conversation off the table, procrastination for many others. The fact remains: We are all going to die. And, when we do, it will be the responsibility of the living to coordinate the arrangements, and handle the finances.

From the desk of a funeral director: Out of the hundreds of pre-arrangements that I have made so far in my career (and counting), I have not had a family leave the arrangement meeting not feeling lighter having gotten that conversation down on paper, and off the harrowing mortal to-do list. Pre-planning your funeral arrangements is the ultimate way to have autonomy over your services, because you get to say what you want, while you have the voice to say it.

Still, many don’t know where to begin. I can help with that, though! In my funeral service advance planning sessions, we will discuss what you have in mind for services (burial, cremation, aquamation (water cremation), green burial, etc.), and I will answer all questions that you may have about all possible options. We’ll discuss the information that you will need, and I can assist in finding a funeral home that matches your needs, and coordinate directly with them if needed.
