Hello, and welcome! My name is Adam. I am a Certified Grief & Bereavement Specialist, Certified Grief Coach & Licensed Funeral Director, andI’m here to be of support to you as you as you walk your way through today, and toward whatever tomorrow brings for us.
Through research and experience, I have learned that the window of time after a loss has occurred, and after funeral services have concluded (the adjustment phase), is one of the more harrowing parts of the loss/grief experience. This is the period of time during which we are effectively jolted into finding ways to adjust to new lives without the people and things we have lost. As such, it’s the time when we need the most support.
It’s important that we remember: Grief is not an experience that can be “fixed”, nor can it be “cured”. It can, however, be thoughtfully examined, mindfully explored, walked through, and better-managed over time.
Whether you are experiencing grief as a result of the loss of a spouse, a friend, a career opportunity, or the loss of ambition itself, your grief is valid. I see you, and I’m honored to have the privilege of walking beside you through your adjustment phase.
