Self-Care and Anticipatory Grief: How Caring For Ourselves Offers Us the Ability to Care for Others
This course is designed to help funeral professionals, hospice and palliative care staff, grief, health and wellness coaches, and those in adjacent capacities who have a general interest in Thanatological theory, to better understand the nature of anticipatory grief, the scenarios in which disenfranchised grief can occur, and the ways in which this type of grief can present for someone who is mourning a loss that is otherwise unrecognized by friends, family, and society.
